An adult art group – no experience necessary.
This is the fifth year for our small group of creative people from the local area to gather and make interesting art objects.
The Darlington Art Group received a Highly Commended for our group project ‘Daisy Cumming’s Scrapbook’. With twenty-two local artists gathered together and created thirty four collage pictures of costumes worn by women at a Local Race Club Ball over one hundred years ago.
During November of 2017 we performed a puppet show in the Darlington Hall. ‘Pesheepio and the Magic Fleece’. The group members made marionette puppets. All funds raised went to the Darlington Hall maintenance works.
Landscape Painting is the focus for our art group in 2019. Nuggets Flat 23 March 10.30 am BYO materials and lunch.
