Description of Venue: Owned and managed by Glenelg Shire Council, Portland Arts Centre (PAC) was built in the 1970s, has a proscenium arch stage and an auditorium with raked seating for 144.
The foyer offers two adjoining exhibition spaces with a total floor area of c.100 sq. metres for community exhibitions.
The Glenelg Shire Council’s ArtsGlenelg Program aims to provide a diverse range of inbound professional touring performances, catering for a range of age groups and interests. We present around 18 performances in a season, and accept venue hires for performances, presentations and community arts use.
Since July 2016, the PAC has shared the building with independent cinema operator, Twilight Cinemas, which runs regular new release movie screenings

The Portland Arts Centre is situated on the corner of Glenelg and Bentinck Streets in Portland and is open Monday – Friday from 10am – 4pm
