Rune Alith Axisa

Having always adored art from the days of primary school, Rune Alith Axisa aka bruno continued to pursue art as a major subject in highschool and went on to explore the Europe after school. London was enough inspiration for her to pursue a Bachelor of Creative Arts at Melbourne University. Majoring in Visual art Rune studied the likes of art history, print making, book making, typography, sculpture, public art and photography. After university Rune has worked as an assistant in print production, account manager for a design  studio based in Melbourne Swear Words amoung the usual routine coffee making and retail operating. The turning point was when she undertook an inspiring workshop in the fine age old method of printing letters via a historical letterpress machine. It was love at fist impression, it was a considerate, thoughtful and slow process (perfect). Since joining forces with her highschool best friend Tegan Louise (bugs) they are up and running specialising in small boutique projects and evolving into printing illustrations. bugs and bruno were recent finalists for the Regional Design Awards for their own brand identity.

'bugs and bruno' are the high school nicknames given to founders Rune Alith and Tegan Louise.
