What is on offer?

ARTIST CALL OUT – opportunity for south west Indigenous artists

The Glenelg Hopkins CMA Aboriginal Art Symposium is part of the Water and Country series of events, celebrating the spectacular wetlands found across the region.

The aim of the Symposium is to support emerging and talented Aboriginal artists from within the Glenelg Hopkins region, and to showcase their work through exploring their personal and community connections with Water and Country.

Prizes will be awarded for the winning artwork in each of the following categories:
Painted or paper award (includes painting, photography, print making, drawing) – $1500
Three-dimensional award (includes wood and fibre) – $1500
Student award (includes painting, sculpture, collage or print) – $250

There will also be a $500 prize for the artwork that best reflects the Symposium theme of Water and Country.

Entry dates: Open 20 November 2017 and closes 5.00pm on  2 February 2018.
