Hamilton Eisteddfod

The Hamilton Eisteddfod has been continually running since 1961 in the Souther Grampains Shire. It provides the students of dance and music the opportunity to perform before an audience and receive adjudication from international professionals in their field of music and dance.

The Eisteddfod takes place over 14 days , the first week is traditionally music and the second week is dance . The venue is the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre.

Over a thousand entries are received through the STARDOM online entry website. This link can be found through the www.hamiltoneisteddfod.org.au

In 2014 The Hamilton Eisteddfod received acknowledgement in the Southern Grampians Shire Business Awards by winning the events/festival section. This was a proud moment for all the committee members and volunteers  who over many  years have worked tirelessly to put on a professional event for students of music and dance in the South West of Victoria

2016 Hamilton Eisteddfod was again another successful event. Numbers up in the dance section steady numbers in music.
